Send a copyright report

Email support@useworking.app with the subject “Copyright notice”. The operator is Ryan Gupta, trading as Working. 27 Thoresby Place, Cleethorpes, DN35 9AL, United Kingdom. Do not attach an entire private account export or credentials.

Please include:

  1. Your name, contact details and whether you own the rights or are authorised to act for the owner.
  2. The copyrighted work, with a link or enough detail to identify it.
  3. The exact Working URL, file identifier, source URL or information sufficient to locate the material. Private documents may not have a public link.
  4. The use you object to and why you believe it is not authorised by the owner, its agent or law.
  5. A statement that the information is accurate and you are authorised to report it; for a US DMCA notice, include the required statement under penalty of perjury.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

We review sufficiently specific notices, may request missing information and act promptly where removal/restriction is appropriate or required. We may preserve limited evidence for a complaint or claim and notify the affected user unless prohibited or unsafe.

A complaint is not proof of infringement. Where appropriate, we consider authorisation, relevant exceptions and the user’s response. Material is not automatically restored simply because someone disputes a complaint.

If a removal was mistaken

Reply or email support, identify the material, explain the mistake or your authority to use it, and provide contact details. False notices/responses can have legal consequences.

If a statutory US DMCA counter-notice procedure applies, we explain the required signature, material identification, statement under penalty of perjury, contact details and court-jurisdiction/service-of-process consent before using that procedure. A valid counter-notice may be shared with the original complainant; statutory restoration timing depends on whether court proceedings are notified.

Repeated infringement and exam material

We may suspend or terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances, considering valid notices, explanations and law. Do not bypass a removal by re-uploading the disputed material.

Papers and mark schemes remain their owners’ work. Web availability does not mean public domain. Users need permission or a lawful basis; Working does not claim endorsement by exam boards, publishers or institutions.

About US DMCA status

This is a general reporting channel. Working has not represented that it has a registered US DMCA designated agent or that this page establishes a statutory safe harbour. Agent designation and other conditions are separate operational/legal requirements. The applicable procedure depends on the service, claim and law.
