Terms of use
Draft for review. Fill in the bracketed details and have these terms reviewed by a qualified adviser, particularly the sections on minors, consumer rights and liability.
About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and [Company legal name] (“Working”, “we”). By creating an account you agree to them. If you are under 18, please read them with a parent or guardian.
Your account
- Give accurate details and keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- One person per account. [Minimum age, e.g. 13, with parental permission under 13 if allowed.]
Using Working well
Working is built to help you learn. Please do not use it to cheat: submitting AI-written work as your own in coursework, non-exam assessment or an exam can break your school’s or exam board’s rules, and following those rules is your responsibility. Do not misuse the service, including trying to break its security, overload it, or use it to create harmful or unlawful content.
AI answers
Answers, lessons, practice papers and Tutor guidance are generated by AI models. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check important answers against your mark schemes, textbooks and teachers. Working is a study aid, not a substitute for your school or a qualified teacher.
Exam papers
Past papers and mark schemes belong to their exam boards. Working fetches them from the boards’ public websites at your request for your personal study. Working is not affiliated with or endorsed by AQA, Pearson Edexcel, OCR or WJEC Eduqas. Practice papers written by Working are labelled as original practice and are not official papers.
Your content
You own what you write and upload. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you, including sending it to the AI providers listed in our privacy policy. Only upload material you have the right to use.
Plans and payment
- Starter is free and includes 40 AI replies a month. A spoken Tutor turn uses 8 replies, because it includes the Tutor’s voice. Focus, Scholar and Mastery are paid monthly or annually in GBP at the prices shown on our website when you subscribe.
- Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can change or cancel from Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Reply allowances reset each month and do not roll over.
- [Statutory cancellation: confirm how the 14-day cooling-off period applies to digital services that start immediately, and the refund approach.]
Ending
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it. We may change or stop parts of the service; if we stop a paid feature you have paid for, we will refund the unused part.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. We are not responsible for exam results, or for losses that were not foreseeable. [Adviser to confirm wording for consumer users.]
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK you may also bring a claim in your local courts. Questions: [contact email].
